This annual Speaker Series brings together land use, design, and planning professionals, with social equity and environmental advocates to discuss how these individual practices can work together to address the ever-changing needs of our communities and how they can rise to meet the challenges encountered by these professions as a whole to benefit the region.

Organizations involved include APA, American Institute of Architects (AIA), American Public Works Association (APWA), Association of Environmental Professionals (AEP), California Department of Forestry, California Department of Public Health, California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD), California Energy Commission (CEC), California Resources Agency, California Sierra Chapter American Society of Landscape Architects, California Department of Transportation, City of Sacramento, City of West Sacramento, County of Sacramento, Environmental Council of Sacramento, Governor’s Office of Planning & Research (OPR), Sacramento Area Council of Governments (SCOG), Sacramento Tree Foundation, Urban Land Institute Sacramento (ULI), US Green Building Council of Northern California, and WALK Sacramento.
